Modular Vacuum Systems

Achieving perfect plastic distribution with CUMSA’s modular Vacuum System

During the injection process, invisible pressure can build up in the cavity, making it harder to fill, reducing part quality, and increasing cycle time

CUMSA’s system only uses compressed air to remove air, providing the following benefits:

On the plastic part:

  • Perfect plastic filling

  • Enhanced part quality

  • Superior visual appearance

  • Uniform color

  • Dimensional stability

  • Elimination of gas bubbles and Diesel effect (burn marks)

  • High mechanical resistance

During injection process:

  • Reduced cycle times and production increase

  • Lower injection pressure and temperature

  • Minimal scrap rates and considerable energy savings (much lower consumption than a vacuum pump)

Customer testimonials

  • “A lower injection pressure achieved” (from 800bar. to 500bar.)

  • “Reduced cycle time by 4 seconds” (20% less)

  • “Problems with visual appearance solved. Zero scraps”
